DATA Act Training

On May 2-3, 2016, the Data Foundation and the Performance Institute presented the first-ever DATA Act Training Program. The program included lectures on the history and purposes of the DATA Act, detailed discussions of how data standards can be applied to federal spending, and explorations of how standardized spending data will enable transparency, anti-fraud analytics, and automation. The DATA Act Training Program is part of the Data Foundation's commitment to provide educational programming to help government leaders secure the benefits of open data for themselves and their constituents.
